Protect yourself from aging this summer

Sunbathing, swimming, hiking, barbecues accompanied by a good rosé wine, long evenings – all these summer activities that feel so good also contribute to our aging.

The sun, certain foods, and pollutants create free radicals, which are at the root of oxidative stress, contributing to aging, cell damage, and chronic inflammation.

We naturally produce free radicals, which are necessary for our immunity, but in excess, they become harmful.

How can we protect ourselves from free radicals?

POE 4: Carrot - Cu. Se. Mn.

A simple solution that provides the main antioxidant vitamins: A, E and C associated with trace elements that are co-factors for endogenous antioxidants (SOD, catalase, glutathione...): copper, selenium, and manganese.

1 to 2 doses per day for 1 minute under the tongue throughout the summer and longer if needed.

Urucum (or Roucou)

A Brazilian plant very rich in carotenoids (100 times more than carrots) and specifically in bixin, an antioxidant precursor to melanin. Melanin production is the primary defense system against UV rays and thus against free radicals.

Urucum also prevents the harmful effects of the sun thanks to the presence of ellagic acid, a powerful antioxidant also found in pomegranate.

Urucum has the advantage of providing an immediate "healthy glow" effect and contributing to skin regeneration.

Urucum is the flagship ingredient of the Amou’roucou cosmetic range; bi-daily use of the range will help protect and repair the skin.

Karanja

Extracted from the fruits of the Pongamia tree, Karanja oil is used in Ayurvedic medicine for skin care. It contains two powerful flavonoids: pongamol and karanjin which offer an anti-aging action, by developing a protective barrier against the effects of wind, heat, and sun.

Karanja oil contains a natural UV protection factor (without mineral filters or nanoparticles) and has the added benefit of repelling insects.

Applied to the skin before or after sun exposure, Karanja oil maintains skin elasticity, prevents dehydration of the skin and hair, and stimulates collagen production.

Applying Karanja skin care oil or tanning enhancing oil every 2 hours will help care for the skin during and after sun exposure and swimming.
