STRESS & FATIGUE MATURE SKIN
A shrub species from the Rutaceae family, Citrus sinensis is mainly found around the Mediterranean. It thrives in sunny, warm climates, where it can reach a height of 10 meters! A cross between grapefruit and mandarin, the sweet orange originated in Southeast Asia. Sweet orange is distinguished from bitter orange, which comes from the Citrus aurantium variety, used to make neroli essential oil and orange blossom hydrosol.
A highly decorative fruit tree, the sweet orange tree produces flowers that attract many pollinating insects. Its highly aromatic fruits with thick rinds are harvested from November to March.
