The orange tree is a small tree native to East Asia, with evergreen foliage and a straight trunk. It exudes a sweet fragrance thanks to its small, very fragrant white flowers. The luminous fruit of the orange tree is a berry resulting from the natural hybridization between the pomelo and the mandarin. Its zest and endocarp contain a juicy pulp. In ancient times, the golden apples of the Garden of the Hesperides were actually Oranges.
