In Latin, "Salvia" means "to heal" and "sclarea" means "all-good."
Long recognized as a curative plant, Clary Sage essential oil was mainly used to promote feminine comfort, making it an ally for all women. Organic Clary Sage essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering stems of Salvia sclarea L.
Caution: Do not confuse it with Common Sage, which is neurotoxic, unlike Clary Sage.
