Lavandin super is the result of a cross between True Lavender and Spike Lavender, whose characteristics are intermediate.
This blend gave rise to a clone richer in essence, but also more affordable. There are several varieties of this clone (hybrid) that have been selected and reproduced by cuttings, the most cultivated by far being Lavandin Grosso, followed by Lavandin Super and finally Lavandin Abrial.
