Description

Very rich in oleic acid, vitamin E and a source of omega 6, Organic Hazelnut oil is stable against oxidation.

Very light, Organic Hazelnut oil is known for its astringent properties and for balancing sebum secretion. It leaves no greasy film and quickly nourishes the skin. It is suitable as a treatment for combination to oily and/or problem skin, and for skin prone to redness.

  • INCI name: Corylus avellana seed oil* *From organic farming. Certified by FR-BIO-10
  • Botanical name: Corylus avellana
  • Part of the plant: Hazelnuts
  • Extraction process: Mechanical cold pressing of healthy and cleaned hazelnuts in a screw press (first press), then successive filtrations on blotting paper.
  • Main polyunsaturated essential fatty acids
    Linoleic acid (C18:2): 8 to 25%
    Alpha-linolenic acid (C18:3): 0.6% max
  • Main monounsaturated fatty acids
    Palmitoleic acid (C16:1): 0.3% max
    Oleic acid (C18:1): 66 to 83%
  • Main saturated fatty acids
    Palmitic acid (C16:0): 5 to 9%
    Myristic acid (C14:4): 0.1% max
    Stearic acid (C18:0): 1 to 4%
