Description

Organic Sweet Almond oil has been known for millennia for its softening and soothing properties. Particularly suitable for dry, sensitive, and delicate skin, it is traditionally used to tone and nourish the skin.

Rich in fatty acids and vitamins A, D, and E, Organic Sweet Almond oil is renowned for softening the skin and preventing skin dryness. It is an excellent oil with a delightful fragrance, widely used as a massage oil.
Composition
  • INCI Name: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil* *From organic farming. Certified by FR-BIO-10
  • Botanical name: Prunus Dulcis
  • Part of the plant: Almond from the fruit
  • Extraction method: Cold mechanical pressing of the almonds (first pressing). The oil is then successively filtered through blotting paper
  • Main polyunsaturated essential fatty acids:
    Linoleic acid (C18:2): 20 to 30%
    Alpha-linolenic acid (C18:3): 0.4% max
  • Main monounsaturated fatty acids:
    Palmitoleic acid (C16:1): 0.8% max
    Oleic acid (C18:1): 62 to 86%
    Eicosenoic acid (C20:1): 0.3% max
    Erucic acid (C22:1): 0.1% max
  • Main saturated fatty acids:
    Palmitic acid (C16:0): 4 to 9%
    Stearic acid (C18:0): 3% max
    Arachidic acid (C20:0): 0.2% max
    Behenic acid (C22:0): 0.2% max
    Vitamin E content (mg/100g): 40 to 60
