About the Author:

Yves Réquéna, a French physician, specialized in acupuncture during his medical studies starting in 1971. After defending his doctoral thesis in Marseille in 1974, a pioneering work on the subject of acupuncture in gastroenterology, he discovered, a year after graduating in 1975, a treatment to quit smoking with two needles in a single session. He and his colleagues published a scientific experiment involving 1353 controlled tobacco cessation cases in a hospital setting, which became the subject of international publications.

He then taught acupuncture at the Faculty of Medicine in Marseille and focused his research on the concept of "terrains" in acupuncture, constitutions, and temperaments, striving to demonstrate the link between character, emotions, meridian energies, and illnesses.

Moxibustion

The benefits

Pure or smokeless mugwort moxas

We offer two types of moxa:

Pure mugwort moxa sticks are made of pure mugwort and charcoal, with no added medicinal plants. These moxa sticks adhere to the principles of traditional Chinese medicine.

Smokeless moxa sticks are made of mugwort mixed with essential plants from the Chinese pharmacopoeia, such as Qiang Huo or Asarum. Compressed into rigid sticks, they are easy to use and emit no smoke or unpleasant odors.
