MUSCLES & JOINTS DISINFECTION
Scots pine or Pinus sylvestris is a large tree of the Pinaceae family. It can grow up to 50 meters tall. Considered the most beautiful pine in Europe, this tree is mainly characterized by the orange-brown color of its bark. It's no coincidence that it's also known as red pine!
This particular coloring is visible in adult trees. It is grey in young plants. The bark at the base is marked by deep furrows.
The needle-like foliage of the Scots pine is adorned with a grey-green or bluish-grey color. Measuring 4 to 8 centimeters, it is flexible, pointed, but not prickly. It is from these needles that Scots pine essential oil is extracted.
Flowering begins in April. As for the fruits, they are oval-shaped cones, colored brown or black.

Cultivation & Origin
Scots pine is a Eurasian plant species. It is native to central and northern Europe, North Asia, Siberia and the mountains north of the Middle East. This tall tree is sensitive to wind, but perfectly resistant to extreme cold, drought and storms. Although red pine grows in almost all soils, alkaline soil is not very conducive to its growth.
Scots pine is notably cultivated for use in construction and in the production of paper pulp.
